1/16/2020 (Permalink)

During a storm or rain, you may discover a leak in your roof and this may be cause for worry, here are some things you can do to minimize the damage. First, if possible stop the leak and contain the water damage so it does not spread, possibly damaging other parts of your property. Second, contain the leaking water with some sort of bucket or bowl then remove the water from your home or property. 3rd, call your insurance agent or local restoration such as SERVPRO to come and survey the situation, then your property can be properly serviced, ensuring there is no lasting water damage or mold. Make sure to stay safe out there during a storm or heavy rains and be sure to be aware of a possibly leaking roof!
